There is a small cabin (Red Cliffs Cabin) that sleeps four- six, about 200 feet behind the house. This cabin could be rented as well for full privacy of the entire property. Otherwise, the cabin is rented separately. The pond is shared by both houses but the river directly in front of the main house is private only for you. The small cabin guests will access the river upstream, on one side of the property so your place retains its privacy. There is an option to bring your own horses.
This property is 17 miles east of the cowboy town of Dubois, that offers dining, shopping, rodeos, bars, and entertainment. It grants the luxury of privacy and allows accessibility to national parks and touristy places like Jackson Hole, without the need to have to stay there.
Upon stepping into the living room the all-glass window front lures the eyes outside to where the two trout streams merge. The serene view is framed by the colorful badlands that rim the trout-filled stream. Being surrounded by a wildlife habitat area, the property frequents bald eagles, moose, elk, and deer.
The swimming pond only fills in the summer and the water is very cold. But in the height of the summer, it is the perfect place to dip and cool off.
