Summary: There was a lot of confusion on checking in. I had reserved 2 rooms for 1 night using Hotels. When I arrived I learned that one of my rooms had been given to someone else with my same first name but a different last name. Plus my card had been temporarily charged for this strangers room (for 2 nights). The night clerk (Aryana) discovered this mix up, and did go above and beyond to get this corrected. Where I got to my room it was very hot, and the controls for the AC did not work. So I opened the window to let some fresh air in and discovered there was not a screen for the window, so leaving the window open would not be an option. I was going to call Aryana, but discovered the hotel phones did not work. Aryana did find us a different room and also provided us with a box fan. The hotel manager did end up comping my room, and the billing issues were resolved to my satisfaction.
