Summary: Location is perfect walking distance to many restaurants, coffee shops, Fisherman’s Village & waterfront parks. The area is still recovering from major hurricane damage, some businesses have closed. The Punta Gorda Cottages are updated & impeccably clean. The owner leaves many thoughtful touches. The only concern I can think of is if you are looking for nice sandy beach time you will have to drive a bit. There are no pool facilities at the cottages. If you are looking for a short respite in an area with things to do, I would recommend the Punta Gorda Cottages. - Cheryl
