Positive: Great little house that gives you room to spread out, much bigger than a hotel room but small for a house. There is only a shower but the water pressure is strong and water is hot. There is a small public bath around the corner. The staff is nice and the location is very close to a train station, 7/11, and restaurants. Also loved the temple behind the house. The area is very walkable and peaceful.
Negative: The beds are futons and are fine for sleeping, but medium level comfort. The windows are thin so you can hear emergency vehicle sirens at night—I recommend earplugs. It would be nice to have some tea at the property. The checkin location was a bit difficult for us to find, but the community center around the corner has people that will direct you (I think it may be connected?).
