Positive: We stayed at Exe Domus Aurea for five nights and overall had a good experience. The apartment was a little dated, but it was clean, comfortable and perfectly adequate for our stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the pool was excellent—definitely one of the highlights. Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable stay with friendly staff and a great pool. We would rate it a solid 7.5 out of 10.
Negative: The main disappointment was that neither the bed linen nor the towels were changed during our five-night stay. Fresh towels were available, but only at an additional cost, which we found unusual and disappointing.
Summary: Overall pleasant but would not be in a rush back
