Our home is a complete, five bedrooms, three bath, 3,300 sq. ft. newly renovated family style retreat in gorgeous Southampton which includes a brand new professional size pickleball court. Our home comfortably sleeps 16 persons.
In May of 2023 we completed a brand new fully renovated backyard. In 2024 we added a pickleball court which came at the request of most of our guests. The idea was to create a resort like country club experience here at our home. The pictures will give you the full magnitude of WOW factor so please make sure you take a look. If you are a family, with teenagers all the way down to young kids or grand kids...this is the vacation home for you.
Our fully renovated basement includes fusbol, darts, chalkboard, yoga/workout/boxing room and a laundry area. We also added a third bathroom.
The yard is centered around a gorgeous, brand new 20'X40’ in ground pool(Pool only open in the Summer months).The salt water system and heating system allows for everyone to enjoy this relaxing water while sitting on custom benches designed for the adults, and swim outs in each corner for the kids. We extended the low end by 4’ which allows the kids to have plenty of room to play before the slant starts. A diving board in the deep end for extra fun. Want to swim at night? Enjoy soft outdoor lighting and an LED pool and hot tub lights which change colors.
The new addition includes a top of the line 5 person salt water filtrated hot tub. Change the power of the jets, or change the led spa colors at night. After a long day at the beach, or perhaps shopping come home and sit and relax in the hot tub with a cold beer or glass of wine or just doze off in one of our many super comfortable loungers.
Also, welcome the addition of high end outdoor speakers which can be linked by any device with bluetooth capabilities. We put in a new fire pit sitting area where you can relax after dinner with a warm fire in a comfortable adirondack chair. Sit alone...or with family warming some smores over the fire. The newly added trek decking goes from the back of the house to and completely around the pool and hot tub. 2,200 sq. ft to be exact.
On the other side of the house, enjoy the morning walking out with a hot cup of coffee onto a beautiful patio, with comfortable chairs and couches under a cedar pergola. This is my favorite morning spot where it is absolute quiet with exception to the birds chirping.
We also thought having an outdoor barbecue kitchen with all the amenities would make life a lot easier and allow the people who are always doing the cooking not to miss out on any of the backyard fun. Families can be together while all outside, even when making food. The area includes a brand new Weber grill with searing capabilities and a side burner for corn or pasta. Conveniently there is a full sink, hot and cold with a large prep area. There is a refrigerator located right next to the sink for cold drinks or fruits and vegetables as well as a large cooler. Bringing it all together is a Cedar Pergola which covers you and the grill in case an afternoon shower comes in while cooking. The pergola is equipped with power and USB outlets to be utilized as a charging station.
There is a new 12x16 pergola which sits over then dinner area and is wired with soft lighting. The pergola provides tons of shade throughout any part of the day for those who wish not to be in the sun. A large dinner table is there for families to enjoy...with other tables and sitting areas available for larger families and friends. You'll also see a brand new outdoor shower which is great for getting the sand off or to give the kids a quick shower before dinner. Shower is enclosed, yet accessible while on the deck and has both hot and cold water with a mirror for shaving if you choose.
The last thing we did was enclosed the entire pool and hot tub area in with a 40" high white pvc fence. Although not required by code as the property is fenced in, we believe that safety is the priority. There are two gates to enter and leave the pool area which both have child proof security latches. In fact, throughout our entire home, inside and out we have incorporated child safety as a priority.
In the front, we built a Notre Dame blue and green basketball court which sits a top of the 150' long driveway with a fiberglass backboard and hoop that can be height adjusted so the little ones can shoot as well. Beyond the pool is a brand new professional size Pickleball Court. Enjoy hours of fun and then take a dip in the pool to cool off. Rackets and balls are provided. There is still plenty of green grass for a soccer goal as well we have a full size sports wall that can be kicked against, thrown against, or used as a backstop wall for kickball and wiffel ball. The Pickleball Court also has the ability to double as a volleyball and badminton area where family and friends can play. Still plenty of room to enjoy Kan Jam, Spikeball or the newest game coming out Summer 2024 called MatchShot. If you like Corn hole...you'll love MatchShot!
Last but not least, an outdoor ping pong table designed for competitive play or just some light fun. If a beach day is out because a cloudy day or some thunderstorms here and there...do not worry. Our home inside and out has plenty to do. If your family enjoys being outside more than inside, then this is the house for you and your kids who will be revered for the backyard you will get to enjoy for a Summer month in the Hamptons.
The house in the last few years also has had some other new renovations and major additions like all new windows, new siding, new roof, central air, and a huge upstairs bathroom. After a day at the beach enjoy a fully enclosed hot shower. Comfortably wait for your friends to arrive on our newly expanded front porch, with decking done in Brazilian walnut, also known as ipe’ wood...or watch the Sun set on the back deck while barbecuing, drinking wine and listening to music.
The house has 5 bedrooms, 3 upstairs and one on the main floor for people who would prefer not to use stairs, perhaps grandparents or somebody with a bad knee. There is a 360sq. ft. studio bedroom on the lower level. Our home has three bathrooms. One bathroom which is on the main floor, a huge top of the line upstairs bathroom on the second floor and a newly added bathroom downstairs for the studio room. The upstairs bathroom comes with everything you could ask for…Relax in a gorgeous Air Bubble Tub, with a separate shower and duel sinks for the kids. Do not forget about the outdoor shower and a new larger hot water tank which can accommodate for all 3 showers to run at the same time.
The newly opened up kitchen with dining area and a full line of all new appliances allow for that open concept. We have a gorgeous panoramic kitchen window which allows views of the entire backyard...especially the pool. Our family room is large enough for 12-14 people to enjoy, with a glass sliding door leading to the backyard. Enjoy looking at the stars at night while relaxing on the new front porch or sitting on the back deck watching the kids swim in the pool. Relax on the deck under the pergola, the sitting area couches with a cedar pergola for shade or just around the fire pit. Last option is to just sit in the hot tub with your eyes closed listening to music. A personal favorite :)
A new central air system has been installed which cools the main floor, the upstairs hallway and upstairs bathroom.
The upstairs bedrooms have individual Fujitsu units so you can control own temps at night with the touch of a remote. New LG washer & dryer are down in the fully renovated basement laundry area equipped with great lighting, hanging area and folding table.
Flying Point Beach is about 5 minutes away and the bay even less. Non residents can not park at Flying Point so most of my guests Uber back and forth which costs even less then the fee at Coopers Beach for parking. Flying Point has bathrooms and outdoor showers but no concession stand. Coopers beach is about 10 minutes away and has bathrooms, outdoor showers and a full concession area for food and drinks. Non residents can drive and park there for $50 dollars for entire day with as many people as you can pack into the car. Southampton shops, Jobs lane are just a few minutes away as well.
The new design of the home offers an open concept which is great for entertaining. There is 25ft of gorgeous quartz countertop, with a dozen brand new cabinets. To top it all off, all brand new appliances.
The home also has a 4 digit coded door handle which can be changed and allows the family not to worry about keys. There is a home security system and two outdoor cameras...one for front driveway so you can see guests arriving and the other is to be able to see the pool. Within in a minute a guest can have their mobile product locked into both cameras. It can even notify you when it detects any motion in the pool area.
Being we offer 5 nights as a minimum stay, we usually have10 families in and out of our home throughout the Summer. The cleaning crew needs at least 6 hours to clean and get the house ready for the next guests who many times are arriving the same day we have guests leaving. Renters are asked to arrive anytime after 4pm and guests to depart by 10am. If you need anything…have endless questions please do not hesitate to reach out.
