Summary: This is a large, attractive home in a wonderful neighborhood on Shelter Island. We have stayed at SI before, but not in this area. The street was quiet and treelined, and mostly shady. It is only a short walk to a small beach (no lifeguards) but also a short drive to other life guard attended beaches. The house has a wonderful pool in a secluded backyard and a huge deck for lounging around or dining outside. There are multiple sites inside for eating or hanging out with family or friends. All of the property was clean and well maintained, and was as described in the listing. The bedrooms and baths were large and comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you have in your own home plus more. The homeowner was super fast at responding to questions before we rented and extremely helpful with all kinds of information. Looking forward to renting this house again sometime in the future if possible.
