Positive: We were allowed to check in at 14.30 which was earlier than the 16.00 stated time and Fernando met us at the property. He went through the facilities within the apartment and also advised us of nice restaurants nearby, where to park locally, how to get to the beach etc and was extremely friendly and helpful. The apartment was absolutely spotless and in excellent condition. The location was brilliant, about 10 minutes walk from restaurants in the old part of town and about 15 minutes walk to the nearest beaches. The walk to the beach takes you through the local park which is opposite the apartment. There was plenty of local parking and to drive to the local Lidl for supplies was 5 minutes.
Negative: The local beaches are lovely and the small coves are linked by tunnels through the cliffs. One small disappointment was that they suffer from 'Brown Seaweed' which apparently has arrived from Japan and Korea and is causing an issue with the eco system. Although this doesn't prevent you from swimming it is unsightly and is not only in the water but also on the beaches. The local council/government are trying to come up with a solution to the problem which I hope they manage to. Lagos is still very beautiful and well worth a visit.
Summary: We loved our stay at Lagos and would definitely stay at Fernando's apartment again.
