Positive: A lovely relaxing laid back stay. The garden was a big bonus for me. We ate in in the evenings (it is a short walk into town, but uphill on the way back) and the cooking facilities were fine, though the microwave/ oven was hard to master. I was worried about the high dining chairs, but they were surprisingly comfortable. There is a frequent easy bus service to Sintra. If you come by car, the car park is in R da Abreja, (on the left if you are going up the hill). Park at the far end of the car park. Go through the large slatted wood gate near the far right hand corner of the car park, to enter the garden of the property. To get to the front of the property: go up the stone steps to the right, keep going, and through the metal gate to the top.
Negative: I would have liked some instructions for the microwave. It would be nice to have a couple of chairs on the balcony. There was building work going on to renovate other apartments when we were there. We were out most of the day so it did not disturb us much.
