Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Charming building and apartment. Despite the heat it stays relatively cool if you keep windows closed during the day and open at night only. Nice area, quiet but there’s nothing going on. Bills and Penny are less than 10 min walk but going to the centre or Strandbad is either a bus ride or by car.
Negative: Bathroom could do with some upgrades. There is no shower curtain so you either risk flooding the place, or you squat down in the bath. Also watch your head by the sink - it’s underneath a stair case so tight space. The toilet could use a modern toilet bowl - it’s rather old and grimy. May as well put a sink in to wash hands. Kitchen is functional but for the price being charged I expect at least one sharp knife that can cut a tomato. And pans without Teflon pealing off. Currently it’s ok to make coffee and breakfast but wouldn’t dream to cook lunch or dinner with the equipment provided.
