This is a beautiful stone house perched on huge grounds that overlook an orchard of walnut, apple and plum trees (you are encouraged to help yourself!) Traditional in its furnishing, the house is fully equipped with all modern appliances you could need (washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, gas stove, oven, coffee maker, etc). During the summer stay when it was hot, you really appreciate the fact that the house remained cool during the day and that the terrace is shaded by a huge chestnut tree, making it not only possible but pleasant to sit outside all day long, even at noon. The house is situated only 1 minutes drive from Beaumont du Perigord, a charming little village with stores and markets. Other typical Perigord villages are not too far but you will definitely need a car. Generally speaking, the area is less touristy than further east towards Sarlat.
