Summary: Ideal location within short distance to the moors and historical sites. Cottage was very comfortable with a beautiful garden at the rear, absolutely ideal if you're taking a dog, which we did. On arrival there was some scrumptious homemade scones left out for us with jam & cream, nice little welcome after a 4 & half hour journey. We travel down to Cornwall roughly every 6 weeks due to our business that is based there, so we always stay in self catering accommodation places all the time. The downside to the cottage and it might sound a little bit petty, but we were asked on departure to wipe all surfaces, hoover and to strip the bed !! Which we did do.We have never ever been asked to do this even in the depths of Covid. We always leave places clean and tidy, but this request was taking it a bit too far.
