Main House - kitchen is fully equipped with large stainless steel fridge, stainless steel range, garbage disposal, microwave, 4-slice toaster, Keurig coffee machine, Henckel knives and quartz countertops.
The bedroom has a king-size bed with Eurotop mattress, a custom wardrobe and a 40" inch flat screen TV.
There is a large sectional couch in the living room, Bose surround sound system and a 55” flat screen Smart TV with 200+ cable channels.
Throughout the house are bamboo floors. Free high speed Wifi is accessible throughout the property.
Guesthouse - Small guesthouse with a queen size bed, mini-fridge, Keurig coffee maker, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, A/C, modern bathroom, Wifi, wine glasses, wine bottle opener, bamboo floors and a private balcony.
We provide linens, towels, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, cleaning supplies, coffee, tea, sugar, powdered milk, purified water, shampoo and body soap. The kitchen in the main house is also stocked with salt, pepper and basic spices.
We have a 20kw Generac back-up generator in case of a power outage (you’ll never be without A/C). We also have 10,000 litre back up water tank so if the town water gets cut off we still have water. Our goal is to never inconvenience guests with outages that are common in Central America.
Guests have access to the top floor of the main house as well as the guesthouse. The lower half of the main house has a separate entrance and is used as storage for the owners. Owners will not be on the property during your stay.
There is a lock box to access the keys anytime after 3pm. Keys are put back in the lock box at check-out. Managers are always available by messaging, phone or email in case of emergency or maintenance issue.
We are in an area called Cayo Vista or Kayworks Agricultural Layout. We are on the edge of San Ignacio proper and we enjoy the beautiful views of the town, the surrounding villages as well as the beautiful Yalbac Mountains.
We are a 5 minute drive to Burns Ave, the Welcome Center and the Farmers Market, a 4 minute drive to the Princess Casino and the Green Iguana Conservation Project. We are also close to Cahal Pech Ruins, Rolson's Restaurant and a 10 minute drive from Xunantunich Ruins.
Guests would benefit from having their own vehicle. If guests would prefer to not have a vehicle we can provide recommendations for shuttle services. We can also provide recommendations and phone numbers for local taxis.
