Positive: Great location, close to beach, nice & cosy place
Negative: I really Didn’t like the security bond payment ahead of arriving. Although the reservation was confirmed (non-refundable) and paid in full via Booking app, The Host refused to share the property access code without me transferring additional security bond amount to his bank account first. Only AFTER I made this additional bank transfer to hosts bank account, I was shared the access code but I also received detailed instructions about what I need to do (i.e. taking rubbish out, cleaning bbq, not damaging anything, no loud noise, etc.) in order get my security bond back in full after the stay. I think this practices might be breach of Booking’s T&Cs. If really needed, I would feel much more comfortable with having the security deposit taken & released by Booking
