Summary: My family and I (a party of 8) enjoyed our week in this agreeable home with an open floorpan capable of accommodating widely different activities at the same time—i.e., meal prep, watching sports, playing games, tying flies, working, curling up with a book. (And the upstairs was insulated enough to allow someone to take a quick nap and not be bothered by all going on below.) Everything was very clean, and both bath and beach towels were plentiful and fluffy. All beds and air mattress are doubles, so don't count on sleeping quarters for 8 or 10 if you have people who are not partnered. (This is not super evident in the description, and the sofas, while comfortable, are not for sleeping.) The ping pong table in the garage was a godsend for the kids when they weren't at the beach. The park across the street has tennis, bocce ball, and volleyball courts, and the pickleball courts at Tomlinson School (a 5-minute drive) also got a workout from our group. We easily rented scooters for trips to and from the beach when we didn't need to transport beach paraphernalia. Outside, we felt the grill, backyard table, and shade coverage should be larger for a house that accommodates 10, and once or twice we were unhappily aware of the proximity of the town dump. All in all, though, it was a lovely stay and the owners and their stand-in were responsive.
