Sea Whisper provides luxurious, spacious and contemporary accommodation in North Devon's popular surfing destination of Croyde! This fabulous 6 bedroom, 5 bathroom property with a hot tub sleeps up to 11. Stunning large gardens and terraces and close to Croyde village and beach.
Perfect for family gatherings with something for everyone! Close to the village amenities and footpath to the beach yet backing onto fields with countryside at the bottom of the garden! Lovely spacious accommodation and with the added bonus of a hot tub! Choose from two lovely patio areas with enough garden for the children to play.
Living/Dining
The main open plan living/dining room is the hub of the house and the perfect setting for everyone to get together for some evening entertainment. The dining table is extendable and will seat up to 12 people, there is a wall mounted smart TV with soundbar that can also be used as a Bluetooth speaker. There is comfortable seating for 6 in the main living/dining area and there is further comfortable seating for 5 in the 'reading area'.
To the ground floor there is also a separate tv room with large L-shaped sofa seating for 6, curved smart tv and sliding doors leading out to the terrace and garden.
Cooking
The brand new kitchen is very well equipped with double oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, Lavazza coffee machine and the all important wine fridge. There is a separate utility room with a sink, washing machine and tumble dryer.
Sleeping
There are 6 bedrooms in total sleeping up to 11 guests. The master bedroom is a wonderful triple aspect room on the first floor with views on all sides of the countryside surrounding Croyde. It has a kingsize bed, plenty of clothes storage and hanging plus a large ensuite shower room. Bedroom 2 is on the ground floor and has zip and link beds and therefore can be made up as a twin or superking (please choose from extras when booking). This room overlooks the lovely front garden and has wardrobe storage and a tv with freeview. Bedroom 3 is a king size room on the ground floor with sliding doors leading out to the large sun terrace and garden. Bedroom 4 is a twin bedroom also on ground floor. Bedrooms 5and 6 are both on the first floor, Bedroom 5 arranged with bunks and bedroom 6 as a single.
Bathing
There are certainly no shortages of shower/bathrooms to choose from at Sea Whisper! 5 in total plus an outside shower for washing off after the beach. To the ground floor there is a bathroom with shower over, a shower room plus a large wet room offering 2 rain shower heads with telescopic attachments. This wet room has a wider door to enable wheelchair access and can also be accessed from outside - so after a day at the beach/surfing you can shower off without leaving sandy footprints! Outside this wet room there is also an outside shower. Upstairs there is a further bathroom with shower over the bath plus the master en-suite which has a lovely large walk-in shower with rain head and hand held attachment.
Outside
The WOW factor of Sea Whisper is not just limited to the inside - the landscaped terraces and gardens have been transformed to provide fantastic areas to relax and wile away the days yet also with plenty of garden space for children to run around and enjoy the fresh sea air.
The gated driveway provides parking for multiple vehicles and the garden is fully enclosed when the gates closed. A brand new terrace and borders have been built to create a Mediterranean villa style area off the living/dining room and this is where the hot tub is located together with the large outdoor table and chairs and Weber coal BBQ. This terrace leads around to the wetsuit washing/drying area outside the utility room where there is a sturdy rail with hangers is available to dry wetsuits and surfboards/bikes can also be stored in this area. The path continues around the rear of the property to the second terrace where there is more informal seating with corner sofa, table and stools plus 2 sun loungers. Being predominantly south-east facing, this terrace is a real sun trap and the outside shower is ideal for cooling off in the heat or washing off the sand before heading into the wet room. From here, the lawned garden extends to the front of the property and is bordered by flowers, shrubs and mature trees. There is a pedestrian gate which leads onto Cott Lane (if you can tear yourselves away from this amazing property) where within a few minutes' walk you will reach the village amenities and an approximate 15 minute walk to the beach.

BOOKING INFORMATION
Please note that you are booking via an external channel and not directly through Ocean Cottages, therefore any information not provided directly from Ocean Cottages cannot be fully relied upon and pricing may differ. Please check payment and cancellation terms prior to confirming your booking.
There is a refundable security deposit of £300 payable with the final balance (not applicable to Airbnb bookings) - please note this will not be shown in the total cost of the booking on the summary screen. The security deposit is refunded within 14 days of departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection).
Full payment is due if arrival is within 10 weeks. For bookings made 10+ weeks in advance a deposit of 50% plus the £60 non-refundable booking fee is due. The final balance and security deposit (if applicable) is payable 8 weeks prior to arrival.
For Bookings confirmed with VRBO, Ocean Cottages will take your payment prior to confirming your booking, this could be up to 72 hours after receiving your confirmation from VRBO. If we are unable to accept your booking, we will contact you as soon as possible. Airbnb take payment on our behalf and pay us after your stay, they will confirm the dates and amounts due when you make your booking.
It is not possible to add any extras when booking via VRBO/Airbnb and therefore the costs of any extras will not be included within the price shown, extras must be requested and paid for directly with Ocean Cottages.

Please note, to ensure optimum cleanliness & hygiene of the hot tub, it will be completely emptied and re-filled with water and chemicals on your arrival day. Therefore, the hot tub may not be up to temperature until the morning after your arrival.
