3 Bedroom Villa in Virgin Grand Estates, ST John
LOCATION.
Seawind is located on a secluded and quiet hillside lot in Chocolate Hole with scenic south - southwest facing views of Chocolate Hole and Hart Bay. This location is just a 5-minute drive on paved roads to the restaurants, groceries and nightlife of Cruz Bay!
My villa is true rendition of the traditional Caribbean architecture, with four hip roofed buildings that are connected by decks, covered walkways and patios.
We expanded the tile deck and railing in 2016. The deck area is a great place to hang out; an expansive area to sunbathe, entertain, star gaze. In addition, as always, AL-fresco dinning is a must!
All rooms except the guest (loft) bedroom are on the pool level. The air-conditioned great house, with a vaulted 25-foot beamed cathedral ceiling, contains the great room, an interior dining area and a loft bedroom and Bathroom. The Bathroom is unique because it has something that is quite rare in a Villa: A full size bathtub to soak in!!!!
The granite and mahogany kitchen is attached to the great house and is also air-conditioned.
The two a/c adjoining master bedrooms are on the south (left) side of the pool. Temperature controlled rooms, exposed beam ceilings, multiple ceiling fans, screened sliding windows, Terra-cotta tiled floors throughout and beautiful landscaping provide an inviting and relaxing tropical atmosphere in this well furnished, very charming home.
LIVING/DINNING.
The well appointed, a/c living area has every amenity. It features furniture from Bali that is comfortable and cozy. You will find that the room is accented by local St. John artist paintings. Each painting tells a story and is a true representation of the beauty of St. John. Entertainment includes a HD cable TV/DVD with surround sound with stereo /CD. The deck off the great room is terra cotta tiled and includes awnings that allow you to relax in the sun or the shade. You may choose from four dining areas, inside at the teak table for 4-6 in the great room, or outside on the deck off the kitchen at a table for 8. There is the bar/island in the kitchen, which is a great place to congregate for lunch or drinks.
KITCHEN.
The large, bright, air conditioned, granite and mahogany kitchen is a chef's delight. It includes a tiled bar/center island with bar chairs, a 4-burner gas stove and Convection oven, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, blender, coffeemaker, double filtered and ozonated water, a telephone and a complete assortment of dinnerware and cookware and a washer/dryer.
BEDROOMS.
Both air-conditioned master bedrooms have a cozy and romantic décor. Both are furnished with king beds, nightstands, lamps, artwork, accessories, and a hanging closet, and both have French doors that open to ocean views. Both master bedrooms have fully tiled baths and showers, linen closets and a locking safe.
Both master bath are fully tiled, with the main master encased in native stone wall with dual shower heads.
The 3rd bedroom is a nicely furnished a/c loft with a queen bed and a tiled bath and shower that is located on the lower level of the great room.
Additional Amenities:
Seawind has cable TV’s in each room as well as WI-FI service throughout the entire house! New for this season will be an upgraded router and modem so that you can enjoy Internet service in the separate bedrooms! Each room also has phones. Local calls are free, but plan on bringing a calling card for those long distance calls.
