Panoramic views of the Delaware River from every room. Enjoy outdoor living at its finest on multiple decks.
The space
The living area comprises an open concept kitchen, dining, and living space all sharing sweeping views through the windows, revealing the natural beauty of Whipporwill island nestled in the middle of the flowing water. Step outside from the kitchen and dining area onto a wooden deck then down to the river all shaded by mature trees giving you a chance to feel the refreshing breeze coming off the water.

Summary: We stayed a week and had a lovely time. We found the cottage small but not cramped, though we spent minimal time indoors. The bed was comfortable and the recliner/loveseat was good for relaxing at the end of the day. The deck is lovely and fairly private and has dense shade most of the day. The walk down to the river is very steep and overgrown and requires 2 strong people to get a canoe/kayak up and down. The location on the river is great. It’s wide and not fast so you can swim, float, boat easily. It’s also located on top of a cute ice cream place across the river that you can boat to- you will have to climb up a ravine. Tom was accessible and addressed our concerns when needed. We hope to come back!
