Newly remodeled, 2 Bedroom, 1.5 bath, 1700 sq foot home . Garage, and 3 patios to choose from. Grill & outdoor furniture, open-floor plan, fireplace, and homey kitchen... just a few of the highlights of this sweet little Mountain Getaway ! The house is bright and cheery, with 360 degree Mountain views, a a seasonal stream, and a yard full of wildflowers and birds ! Nestled in the Aspen trees at 8900 ft, it is truly magical. My favorite part of the house are the two window seats in the living room, facing the San Juan Mountains . There are 2 SMALL bedrooms; one has a QUEEN bed with a patio, the other room has a FULL bed. Internet and Spotty cell service and a TV with limited channels. Pets are negotiable. There is abundant wildlife , so we ask that you respect the animals (deer, elk, coyotes fox, bears, birds) that also call Elk Meadows home. PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION BELOW.... This house is truly for the adventurous, conservation-minded, outdoor enthusiast, that wants to unplug for a period of time. An Ideal place for writers, musicians , artists, or just pure Nature Lovers, looking for A Magical Experience !! Leave your troubles behind , and enter the peaceful world of " Elk Meadows" ! Please, " NO SMOKERS " !!!! NOTE: The house is in a subdivision 8.5 miles on a DIRT ROAD, 2000 ft above the town of Ridgway. 4 - WHEEL DRIVE, recommended !!! The road is maintained year round , BUT, ROUGH and STEEP in spots !! During the summer 2020- COVID 19, We will provide gloves and masks, and Clean as best we can to avoid any problems. I will offer 100% Refund at ANY TIME if you have to cancel due to the fear of the Virus, or other issues in these unpredictable times.
