“Shannie on the Bay” is a double-storey family home in Coronet Bay just a short walk from the beach and 2 minute drive from the Coronet Bay Boat Ramp and General Store. The supermarkets, restaurants & cafés of San Remo are only a 10 minute drive away. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:
Indoor Areas
The upstairs open plan Dining/Living & brand new Kitchen (with TV & dongle) provides a large area for groups to spread out. Bedrooms 2 and 3 are accessed off this area. Also on this floor are Bedroom 1 (with built in robes), the main bathroom (with shower, half bath and a toilet) and a kitchenette on the landing. Downstairs is the huge 2nd Living Room (with TV & dongle, plus a spare fridge), bathroom (with shower), separate toiulet, laundry (with clothes dryer & washing machine) and a 2-seater infrared sauna.
Outdoor Areas
The first floor balcony (with high table & 3 bar stools) is accessed via an external stairway or inside from the upstairs Living Room. The large fully enclosed block is perfect for pets (pets not to go upstairs when inside) and children, and there is a fantastic children's playground with 2 x swings, a slide and a sandpit. The garage is not accessible to guests but the large block and long driveway provide plenty of parking for up to 6 vehicles (cars and/or a boat).
Kitchen
The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Nespresso compatible pod coffee machine, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, fridge, dishwasher, smeg electric oven and smeg electric cook top. The kitchenette on the landing also has a freestanding Westinghouse electric 4-element stove and there is a 2nd full sized fridge in the downstairs Living Room.
Heating/Cooling Systems
There are four wall mounted reverse cycle airconditioners; one each in the upstairs Living/Kitchen/Dining room, and one in each of the three bedrooms, a ceiling fan in Bedrooms 1, 2 x wall mounted electric heaters in the downstairs Living Room.
Bedding Configuration
This home has 10 beds, accommodating up to 13 guests:
Bedroom 1 (Upstairs): One King bed and one King Single bed
Bedroom 2 (Upstairs): One Tri-bunk and one King Single bed
Bedroom 3 (Upstairs): One Tri-bunk and one King Single bed
2nd Living Room (Downstairs): One King Single bed and one Single Trundle bed
Please note: The Tri-bunks have a double bed base with a single bed above it.
Linen
It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.
Peak Periods
Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm unless by prior arrangement. Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.
