Summary: The listing showed that there was laundry in the basement suite, but actually there was none. This was inconvenient because I was counting on getting the laundry done in Sintra. Fortunately, the owner helped us find a solution, so it worked out okay. The owner probably has the listing fixed by now, but if not, I would double check with the owner before counting on laundry. The basement suite is spacious and comfortable, but it did seem a little damp until I realized that I should be running the dehumidifier. Actually, I'm told that all of Sintra is damp so it may not have been unusual for there to be a little bit of humidity. The basement suite was very clean!
