Positive: The apartment matches the photos. It was clean, cozy, and comfortable, and everything we needed was provided. However, keep in mind that the nearest store, located in the center of Varena, is about a 30-minute walk away, so it’s best to stock up on food in advance. We had some difficulties finding the address, but thanks to the host, who stayed in touch with us, everything was resolved.

Negative: It was very noisy — we could hear every passing car, which made it difficult to sleep. The apartment is located right by the road, and due to the old wooden windows, there is almost no sound insulation. The Wi-Fi hardly worked, and the mobile signal in this area was also very poor.

Summary: Earplugs are definitely needed — I think they could have improved the situation.
