Summary: Overall, a decent stay in a walkable area. The Sonder will establish you to have all the basics needed for a clean room with basic amenities. We stayed in a larger one bedroom with a balcony and one free parking space. Temperature regulation is an issue as the AC or heat is seasonal and the guest does not get the option to select either AC or heat. There is a document near the thermostat explaining only one option will be available per the season. As we stayed in late October, heat was the only option. There are no ceiling fans. We had to turn off the heating and open the window and sliding glass doors to sleep at a comfortable temperature. This is fine until you hear the inevitable street noise from cars, nearby construction and the occasional person yelling in the street. We use a white noise while sleeping but we’re still awakened by street noise a few times in the night with the opened window and sliding glass door. Parking: we had the option of one free space with our room rental and it’s located across the street. However, the gate nearest the Sonder, to enter and exit the parking garage is only open for a couple of hours during business days. So you have to walk around the block to enter the garage and exit at the location that is farthest from thr Sonder. Not a deal breaker but as we were in town for leisure and being two women traveling, we didn’t like that we were walking a block and half in a construction area in the night/wee hours of the morning.
