CONDO SPECIFICS:
LOCATION: Southern Escape is located in the Foundry Building of the Truman Annex. 3 Blocks to Duval Street, 2 blocks to the Truman Waterfront and 1/2 mile from Fort Zachary Taylor Beach. The condo is approximately 4 miles from the Key West Airport. A vehicle is not necessary at this location as it is centrally located and in walking distance to everything in Old Town Key West.
FIRST FLOOR:
Living Room: A spacious living room with large, oversized windows for abundant lighting. With sofa (sleeper) and sitting chairs and large 55" flatscreen tv with cable.
Dining Room: We have chosen to offer countertop dining in this unit to allow for more space in the open floorplan living/ kitchen area.
Kitchen: Updated kitchen with full size refrigerator, oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher. Plenty of utensils, cups, plates and cutlery.
Powder Room: a half bathroom / powder room is conveniently located on the main floor of the home for guest use.
FLOOR TWO:
Primary Suite: The primary suite is located on the second floor of the home and features a king size bed, work desk, flat screen tv, ample storage,closet space and tv with cable.
Primary Bathroom: The primary suite has an ensuite full bath.
Private Balcony: Primary suite also features a second-floor lanai for guest enjoyment.
Laundry: A washer and dryer are located in the closet of the primary bedroom and is a full size, LG Tower.
THIRD FLOOR
Guest Bedroom: The guest bedroom offers two twin beds which can also be converted to a king size bed upon request. The guest bedroom offers ample storage and tv with cable.
Guest Bathroom: There is a second full bathroom located ensuite in the guest bedroom.
COURTYARD: The home has a fenced courtyard and front lanai with outdoor seating and a gas grill for guest use.
PARKING: 1 assigned parking space is provided
POOL: The condo has a shared pool that offers abundant sunlight throughout the day. The pool also has a restroom and lounge chairs for guests' enjoyment and comfort. Towels are provided inside the condo!

Summary: The place was as pictured, although the pictures make some rooms seem smaller than they were. Living area was plenty big enough. Bedrooms large enough too. Kitchen and bathrooms are small, but functional (Kitchen island is actually a good size). And the place was immaculate! Lots of linen, including beach/pool towels. Full size washer/dryer was nice to have.But the best part is the location. Truman Annex is a perfect location on Key West. Close enough to walk to 90% of what we did. Far enough off the busy streets that it was quiet (but for the roosters!). Surrounding streets are beautiful to walk down, but we had the convenience of parking by our door. While the view off the upstairs balcony was nothing (parking lot and building behind) the small deck in front was nice and felt private and cozy. Shaded, yet has opportunity for sitting in the sun too. Perfect for your morning coffee or to read a book.The only real knock on the place is that the sound tends to echo around a bit since there are high ceilings, no carpet, etc. If you have small, loud kids, that might be a bigger issue, but for our small party of adults who don't yell much, not a big deal.The bottom line - we would love to stay here again.
