Guest and Owner will sign an occupancy agreement detailing the terms of the stay. Guest may request a copy of this agreement at any time as it is specific to each Villa rental.
If a guest is bringing a pet we need to know in advance as there may be registration paperwork involved and a pet fee.
This villa has a specific allowance for electricity usage which covers normal use per day. If guests run all zones of AC 24/7, it has happened that guests may exceed the allowance and there is a surcharge for over usage based on actual bills or meter readings upon entry and exit. Excess electricity usage may be deducted from the Security deposit that is on hold with Airbnb. To avoid that please be mindful and turn off the AC units when you are not in the room. Guests are responsible for ALL utilities for stays of a month or more.
If guests stay for longer than two weeks a mid-stay cleaning will be charged an additional cleaning fee.

Summary: I will start with the positive: Dorado Reef was a lovely property. We felt very safe as there were always security patrols. Our unit also had a new grill, which was nice. The back porch was a fun gathering area. Now for the rest: Our biggest problem was that one of the showers didn’t work. We contacted the property manager numerous times, and were promised that the matter would be handled. These promises were never kept. In addition, we woke up to construction noise right outside our windows at 6:45 several mornings. The kitchen was very dated: no disposal, it was not well stocked with any towels, there were not many pots, pans, etc. The key access to the pool and beach was slightly inconvenient with a large group. If one person goes in, the rest are locked on the beach or in the pool area. I appreciate the security, but an additional key would be very helpful. I would consider staying in Dorado Reef again, but not in this particular unit unless substantial improvements are made.
