The property's original Ranch House features a nostalgic country decor and has a large kitchen with a 6ft. island and 12-person table, comfortable family room, formal dining room, five bedrooms and two full baths. Linens and kitchenware provided, as well as flat-screen cable TV. High speed internet is also available. There is a playground in the side yard, and plenty of lawn space, making this a wonderful spot to spend quality time with family and friends! Fire pit and gas grill - firewood and propane provided.
River's Bend Ranch is a family-owned guest ranch and event venue, operated by the McConnell family for nearly 40 years. Set on 250 scenic acres between the Blue Ridge Mountains and George Washington National Forest—with half a mile of Shenandoah River frontage and over 20 on-site bedrooms—RBR is ideal for weddings, retreats, family gatherings, or a peaceful weekend escape.
Guests at our ranch can enjoy fishing, birding, walking trails, and lawn games. Trail rides along the South Fork of the Shenandoah are available for all skill levels and open to both guests and the public.
Little ones (and big ones too!) will love visiting our farm animals, including a herd of sheep, colorful chickens, cows, horses, barn cats, and our friendly dog who is always eager for attention!
