This restored historic apartment is on the 2nd floor of a two-unit building. It features a large open kitchen/living room, providing a wonderful space to gather.
During the building's recent renovations, we attempted to preserve as much of the historical integrity as possible, including restoring the original trim and refinishing the original hardwood floors throughout the apartment.
There is a large, open plan kitchen and living room, the first bedroom has a queen sized bed and the second bedroom has two twin beds.
One reserved off-street parking space is provided.
While the apartment is very close to South Grand Ave that you can easily walk to all the action, it is far enough away that you will have peace and quiet in the apartment.
You will have access to the entire 2nd fl apartment and the backyard.

The property is located in the desirable Tower Grove East neighborhood. Three blocks from beautiful Tower Grove Park and one mile from the Missouri Botanical Gardens. Dozens of unique local restaurants, boutiques, & cafes along South Grand Ave are only steps away! While the apartment is very close to S Grand, it is far enough away that you will find peace and quiet inside the home. Busch Stadium, the Arch, Fabulous Fox, STL Zoo, City Museum, and Magic House are all within a simple 10-15 min drive.
The apartment is a few hundred feet from the South Grand ave bus line and close to the Grand Metrolink stop ( 2 miles away). You will only have to take one bus to get to the Grand Metrolink station, and from there you can get to Downtown (only 5 miles away), the airport and all the museums and attractions of Forest Park and the Central West End.
There are days worth of attractions within walking distance. No need for a car, but if you have one, there is a reserved off-street parking space available for free.
Most of our apartments are in historic multi-unit buildings. In order to ensure all of our guests have a peaceful stay, we have set quiet hours between 10:00pm-8:00am. We ask that all guests keep excessive noise to a minimum during these hours as noise can travel between the units.
Noise/party policy: Due to a handful of guests throwing parties and/or being excessively loud, we've had to enact a strict no-party/excessive noise policy that may include a fine. If parties are held or guests are excessively noisy, there may be a fine of up to $500 charged to the offending party. While we hate to be such sticklers and want to be as welcoming as possible, we have found this rule has greatly helped deter parties/excessive noise, and ensures everyone's quiet enjoyment of the space.
Additional guests may incur a fee of $25/guest.
Smoking is absolutely not allowed inside. $500 penalty will be charged to anyone who smokes inside or close enough to the house with a door or window open so that the house smells of smoke on the inside.
