This large 1914 home has been completely updated with a new kitchen and bathrooms, which have heated floors. The wood floors have been restored and the original woodwork, including the built-in dining hutch and fireplace cabinetry and mantle, have been retained. You will enjoy all the modern conveniences in the comfy character of this stately home. Stay for a weekend, or stay for an extended time. The master bedroom offers a king-sized bed, vanity, dresser and TV. Three other bedrooms offer queen-sized beds, dressers, and TVs. The third bedroom, which we call the "bunk room" has two full-sized beds and a TV--cozy room to hang out. The dining room table has seating for eight, but we could provide folding chairs if we know in advance that you will need them. The coffee table in the living room raises to table height , to use as a desk, extra seating for meals, or games. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, and we have dinner and silverware for 16. There are two baths in the house--one has a tub/shower with tile surround, and the other has a beautiful full-tiled walk-in shower. Both bathrooms have heated floors--feels so good! The Como neighborhood is one of the highest rated in the Twin Cities. Como Park is a few blocks from the house--great spot for a walk or run. And while you are there, visit the Como Zoo and the Como Conservatory.
