Positive: The location was great and the apartment was nicely decorated.
Negative: Before our arrival, I had messaged the host in order to confirm that we would be able to check into our room a few hours early and was told this would be possible. However, when I messaged the host we were on our way to the apartment they informed me of a sudden 70 euro extra charge for early check in even though I had already confirmed early check in a week earlier and this extra cost was never mentioned. Furthermore, the wifi password was not provided up front and we had to ask for it days into our arrival. More importantly, we booked this particular apartment as it was advertised as having air conditioning. However when we got there, the air conditioning unit was not at all set up and not even plugged in. When we messaged the host about this they told us to set it up ourselves but as it is a window air conditioning machine it could not be safely installed in the front opening windows on top of the fact that they did not provide us with the panel in order to install it in the window. When we told the host we were missing parts to install the air conditioner we were rudely informed that the host was now on vacation and would no longer be responding. They provided an alternate number to contact and that person never responded to our inquiries. This is a major health and safety concern. As such, this property did not meet the expectations it was advertised to provide and the hosts were very dismissive and unresponsive the entire time.
Summary: Great location but do not book if you are expecting air conditioning or a responsive host
