The contemporary living room and kitchen both overlook a massive sliding glass door that opens onto a large covered patio with sweeping views of the ocean and mountains. The patio features a rectangular dining table with 12 seats, a built-in outdoor kitchen equipped with a BBQ grill and sink, and a seating area furnished with wood pieces adorned with plush teal cushions.
The living room is furnished with a tan linen sofa, a coffee table, a couple of rattan chairs, and an entertainment center with a flat-screen TV. The entire home is equipped with air conditioning and high-speed internet. Additionally, a powder room is located next to the living room.

The second bedroom features a queen-sized bed and three custom extra-long twin bunk beds, each with a cozy quilted blue comforter. Like the first room, this room features a shaded patio outside a sliding glass door, complete with two beach loungers that overlook the pool and the ocean. It also features a private bathroom with a basin sink and walk-in shower, as well as a large closet.
The master suite features a king-sized bed adorned with a mint green comforter, authentic tropical artwork and decor, teak furniture, and a spacious walk-in closet. Playa Potrero
Offering easy access to three beaches (Potrero, Penca and Prieta), this town combines upscale lodging options with the charm of a traditional Costa Rican town (think central plaza with church, school and soccer field).
There are plenty of restaurants, shops and other conveniences, and the downtown area has two mini supers (convenience stores), as well as a commercial plaza with a coffee shop, a hairdresser and other businesses.
Some of the liveliest nightlife in the region can be found at Las Brisas Bar, right on the beach, though it’s normally hopping only on Wednesdays (Ladies’ Night).
Potrero has several nice housing developments with “Villagio” in the name, popular among Italians and other expats. You can find Italian gelato shops, Costa Rican sodas (small, affordable restaurants) and hotels in a range of prices (Pitaya Lodge, Bahía La Esmeralda, Hotel Isolina, Bahía del Sol).
Just to the south of Potrero lie all the attractions of Surfside, and to the north is a beautiful, hilly drive along the ocean, ending at the Mediterranean-style village of Las Catalinas.
