Enjoy lakefront living in this charming one-level lake cabin in the Parker Creek area, 15 minutes from Alexander City off of Highway 280. In a very private setting (concrete driveway is approximately 500 feet in a very wooded area) with over 700 feet of waterfront, you are only a few steps from the water or dock.
With a floating and stationary dock for your boat or personal watercraft (water at dock is approximately 26 feet deep in summer (15 feet in winter), you can enjoy lake living at its best. Take in the big water view while swimming without boat traffic thanks to a very quiet part of the lake which has little boat traffic – mostly fishing boats. Woods on both sides of the property make it feel like you have your own piece of paradise! Best of all with its eastern exposure you'll enjoy beautiful late afternoons/evenings as the sun sets behind the house and the sunlight on the water is breathtaking.
With Charter high-speed WiFi and TV cable reception, you are connected as much as you would like. The new 55” flat screen TV and Blu-Ray player allow watching sports and movies.
You will enjoy the large lake style screened porch with tile floors and nice views! The ping pong table is also on the screened in porch, and can be kept open or closed. The large deck area has plenty of room for deck chairs. Adirondack chairs for sunning are situated on a separate patio close to the master suite. The Weber charcoal grill or gas grill are available for any outdoor cookouts.
The house is only 30 feet from the water, with a few easy steps to the docks. The huge screened in porch allows outdoor living throughout the spring, summer and fall. There is ample outside area for fishing, gathering, cooking and visiting – with one side of the lot completely undeveloped and very private.
The cabin has an open floor plan with a wood-burning fireplace in the living area with very comfortable overstuffed chairs and large sofa and ottomans (all new furniture in living room). The laundry room is off of the living area making it easy to do laundry when needed. Great for families, fishing, swimming and kayaking, paddle boating or a peaceful retreat. There are several uninhabited islands that are perfect for kayaking/boating to for exploration and picnics. Plenty of parking right at the backdoor of the cabin so moving in and out is a breeze. This is a quiet, low-key part of the lake. You will see plenty of deer when you are on the road to the cabin since this is a very quiet, undeveloped area.
RESTAURANTS:
You are a 15 minute car ride to Willow Point, and a 20 minute ride to Catherine’s Market and Spring house Restaurant, and 25 minutes to Kowaliga Restaurant. You are a 15 minute car ride from Big B Bar B Q, La Posada Mexican Cantina, Ruby Tuesday’s and Who’s Diner in Alexander City. The cabin is very convenient for any events at Willow Point as it is a 10 minute boat ride, and 15 minute car ride.
PARKER CREEK MARINA and The Landing Grill are a 10 minute boat ride away.
Boat rentals should be available from the larger marinas, to include Kowaliga Marine.
Auburn is 45 minutes away.
