Newly remodeled daylight basement unit with two bedrooms, one bath, Kitchenette (refrigerator, coffee, sink, washer/dryer & breakfast bar. Outdoor sitting with firepit, BBQ, & Hot tub. One mile from the ferry terminal, gateway to the San Juan Islands.

Between scenic Sammish island & LaConner. Local famous Washington Park can be driven with car or hiked. Cap Sante look-out has gorgeous views of bay, marinas, & Anacortes.

Summary: We truly enjoyed the downstairs apartment. It was very spacious and clean. Having a washer and dryer was awesome. (Though they are small loads only, and be aware that they washer especially is very loud. So it is hard to hear the TV and/or sleep while it is running.) Another great feature was the hot tub. We used it every night. Loved that! Rollin was very attentive to our needs and did give many good suggestions for restaurants and activities. Highly recommend Calico Cupboard One other item to be aware of: you do hear walking (human and dog) from upstairs, as well as barking. Otherwise, the apartment did feel fairly private. We felt the price point was accurate for NOT being a stand alone home. It was very convenient to the Ferry dock allowing for easy access to the San Juan Islands. We also explored the local state parks. Would highly recommend Washington and Deception. Overall, we would recommend Sunsets Forever.
