Welcome to Sunshine Daydreams, a newly renovated, waterfront, split-level townhome in the heart of Horseshoe Bay. This three-level property provides a total of three on-suite bedrooms with an additional full and half bath, two living areas and two decks overlooking Lake LBJ. It doesn't get much better than this.
Through the front door, a large foyer and half bathroom welcome you, complete with colorful art that's sure to make you smile. A beautiful steel staircase with cable railing lead you to the two living and deck areas.
Up the stairs from the foyer, an open living/dining room and kitchen will become base during your stay. This sprawling level includes a family room, dining room and brand-new kitchen. The inviting family room sectional is perfect for movie nights, hot cocoa by the fireplace, or just a place to kick back and relax. You will have a tough time deciding if you should play the games (located in the wardrobe to the left of the backdoor) on the couch or at the 6-person dining table…both are perfect areas for family activities. Next to the dining table you will see the large countertop bar complete with stools that separates the dining/living room from the kitchen and provides additional seating if dining with more than six. The Kitchen. WOW. This esthetically pleasing, modern farmhouse remodel offers tons of cabinets to store food, beautiful open shelving as well as all the essentials your cook will need.
After dinner, exit the backdoor onto a HUGE deck - complete with seating for 8, a grill, accent lighting and unobstructed views of the magnificent sunsets reflecting off lake LBJ.
Back inside, climb up the stairs to the third level where you can rest your head in one of the three on-suite bedrooms. Draw straws or fight over the master bedroom, which boasts an amazing California king bed, large tv and an enormous window displaying picture worthy views of the water. The lucky winner of this bedroom will also be privy to a resort-style, open bathroom. Relax for days in the glassed-in “wet room”, which contains a free-standing tub and powerful, stress relieving shower. Take advantage of this beaut before bedtime to ensure a good nights' sleep!
The other two bedrooms on this floor are practically perfect in every way. Bedroom 2 is equipped with a queen size bed, tv and on-suite bathroom (shower). Bedroom 3 is perfect for those traveling with little ones as there is not only a queen size bed for the adults, but also a twin daybed/trundle and tv. This lovely on-suite bathroom has a tub/shower, again perfect for the little ones on the trip.
Just when you thought this place couldn't get any better – we go back to the foyer and down the stairs to living area number two. This amazing space is perfect for everyone – a great space for kids to play, watch tv or take a nap on the 2 sets of bunk beds; or for adults watching a game, or playing a game of foosball or darts. This area also sports a wet bar and a full bathroom with shower – perfect for after a swim in the lake. Outside the lower-level door, a small breezeway opens into a dock – where avid fishermen can fish both day and night thanks to the fishing light that is ready for your family and friends to come enjoy and relax on beautiful Lake LBJ.
The patio on the back of the house has great views of the open water in Horseshoe Bay, but is also protected by the canal this property sits on. There is table and chairs with seating for four and and umbrella on the patio, as well as 4 raised chairs, perfect for getting a good view over the railing.
The main living area which is just a few steps up from the entry hallway has great views of the lake and the gorgeous back patio. The living area has a sectional sofa, dining table for six, and is wide open to a brand new kitchen with beautiful open design, new countertops, and open concept shelving.
A staircase with cable railing leads you upstairs to the three bedrooms. The Master bedroom at the top of the stairs has a king bed and HD tv. An attached bathroom with dual vanity and bath/shower room completes the master. The second bedroom has a queen bed and another HD tv as well as an attached bathroom and shower. Down the hall the third bedroom has an HD tv, queen bed, and a twin daybed with a trundle. This room also has an attached bathroom with shower/tub combo.
The downstairs area boasts another bathroom with shower, two sets of twin bunk beds with trundles below, an HDTV, loveseat and a chair as well as a foosball table! This is an ideal area for the kids to play!
You must be 25 years of age or older to rent this property. Maximum occupancy always is 12 guests and 2 vehicles, strictly enforced. Please come and have a good time but be aware that behavior that is disrespectful or disruptive will result in forfeiting the remainder of your stay. No smoking or pets are allowed on the property.
