Summary: Two weeks ago we spent a nice and quiet holiday in Riva Trigoso. That place, far from being what you normally would call a touristic resort, turned out to be a lovely enchanting little location with very nice, friendly, hospitable people. We were welcomed by a very friendly but appropriately qualified guy who provided us with enough practical information and travel tips to explore the surroundings. The apartment was situated alongside the beach and had a wonderful, inspiring view and was properly equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay as well. Yet we were somehow a bit surprised by the fact that we had to pay extra for cleaning and bedding after we already made the reservation. Maybe that is normal and we don’t know it because we are not habitual, experienced tourists. On the other hand, the beach is very fine, not crowded at all, quite inviting. Summed up, it was a lovely experience!
