Swing Bridge House is a cottage located a short walk from the famous Warburton Swing Bridge and directly opposite the Yarra River. Crossing the Swing Bridge you will find the Warburton township.
With three spacious bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other bedrooms with two king single beds each, they all have comfortable linens and ceiling fans for the warmer months. The open living, dining and kitchen area opens onto the front deck with views of the garden. Relax on the deck with a nice glass of local wine listening to the sounds of the flowing river and birdlife. There is a split system for heating and cooling comfort all year round and a separate toilet along in addition to the main bathroom having a shower, vanity and toilet.
Swing Bridge Warburton is set on a large corner block in the heart of Warburton. The property is shared with the main house and another cottage with a centre common area of garden. The owner lives in the upper level of the main house accommodation with his two friendly dogs, Daisy & Ruby.
Location is perfect for cycling groups, a family and friends get together or a romantic getaway. Walking distance to town with many eateries and shops to explore, the Warburton Golf Course and the Warburton - Lilydale Rail Trail. A short drive to Redwood Forest, Mt Donna Buang Summit, O'Shannassey Aqueduct Trail and La La Falls. Let's not forget the many wineries and restaurants within an half an hour drive away.
Things to Note:
Dogs are welcome to stay however they must be friendly with other dogs due to resident dogs Daisy & Ruby and possibly other guest's dogs.
The property is fenced over the whole corner block however there isn’t a fenced area for the accommodation space.
Guests have access to the home via the driveway off St Johns Road. They have use of the grass/garden area off at their verandah and shared use of the centre garden area to the front gate. No access to the two homes located on the property, we ask for guests to respect the privacy of other guests. The owners live on site in the upper level of the main house.
No shoes are allowed to be worn inside.
