Summary: Our stay at the Loose Moose exceeded our high expectations. We are MN natives but live on the East Coast. We return every summer to spend time with family on the lakes around Brainerd. The property is pristine and well set up to host a family. From morning coffee on the panoramic deck to afternoon naps on the queen sized chaisse lounge chair to evening s'mores sessions on the lakeside campfire, we did it all. Amy could not have been a better hostess: welcoming, responsive, kind, and gracious. We were easily able to rent boats and jet ski's for the week, and explored the lake fully. From a leisurely afternoon boat ride into Nisswa to stops at the various resort hot spots to great water skiing in the bay, we enjoyed the water every day. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare some nice family meals, and the open set up was ideal for family time over a meal (with a great music system enhancing the experience). The Loose Moose was a big hit, and we look forward to the next stay.
