Summary: We stayed at this gorgeous location over the Thanksgiving weekend. The home was spacious yet cozy and the absolute perfect place for our family get-away. The pros: close to an adorable quaint market, 10 minute drive from major shopping center. Many rooms and bathrooms, dream-like game room, comfortable sprawling couch, perfect dining room and enormous table for memorable family meals, fire places tucked everywhere, ample fire wood, and heated toilet seats! The cons: packed tight in a quaint neighborhood, while there is area to play outside, the neighbors are up close and personal. The pool is NOT heated which was a huge disappointment for my kiddos and they ended up not spending much time in the pool which was the reason we booked this in the first place (the jacuzzi does get hot). Other insights: There were ample towels and toilet paper and some little pucks of hand soap and a little dish soap but you will need to bring just about everything else- cooking sprays and basics, even cleaning supplies. We purchased additional fire wood and fire starters. If you plan to cook, you may prefer to bring a saucepan but other pans and cookware were plentiful. The stairs (and ice) were a little precarious for my elderly parents but there are sturdy handrails. Overall- we really splurged on this trip based on the swimming pool for our kids but were terribly disappointed that it was not heated so the kids didn't even use it. However, we still loved our stay at this beautiful cabin and created some wonderful family memories.
