Summary: We so wanted to love this place. These are good people trying to run a business with limited resources. The customer service reflected this—good, but limited. A simple ‘do not disturb’ sign would have stopped housekeeping waking my wife after a late check-in the night before. It didn’t help that it was one of the hottest nights with only a fan to cool us—not entirely the establishment’s fault given so few places have aircon in the UK. The most disappointing thing was the bathroom. The shower sealant needs replacement, and we weren’t a fan of the paper bathroom mats.
