This charming 4-bedroom house is the perfect place for friends and family to gather. Put your feet up and relax by the cozy wood stove with a warm cup of hot chocolate or your favorite Northwest coffee blend.
Welcome to Moon Mountain! The scenery in Washington State is spectacular and Mt. Rainier National Park (The Crown Jewel) is a 15-minute drive to the Stevens Canyon Entrance from Moon Mountain.
Surrounded by the Gifford Pinchot National Forest, a 45-minute drive to Mt. St. Helens National Monument and a 25-minute drive to White Pass Ski Area. Enjoy a two-mountain vacation from our location and see both Mt. Rainier and Mt. St. Helens.
We have three cabin rentals on 8 acres with the most beautiful park-like setting. Each cabin is privately situated with shared common areas; a community firepit, a Koi Pond and big fields to play outdoor games with your family, friends, or your dog.
Each cabin has its own picnic area complete with firepit, lawn chairs and picnic table. Our cabins are equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay with us. Fully equipped kitchens, linens, bath toiletries, BBQ’s, board games, books, cable TV, DVD player, shared hot tub, and the beautiful outdoors.
Living in the mountains can have challenges that should be expected by guests. In the event of inclement weather, we will do out best to keep the driveways and walkways clear of snow as quickly as possible. In case of a power outage, we have a generator to keep the well pump going so that the cabins will have running water until the power is restored. We do not have a generator to provide electricity to the cabins but each cabin has a wood stove and we will provide firewood in case of a power outage. We do not refund because of acts of nature including storms, air quality from forest fires, etc. that are out of our control. We will do our best to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Summary: This is one of several rentals on a shared property. There's a big yard around the house, so it wasn't a big deal, but I didn't catch that or that the hot tub was shared.I had no issues getting there with Google maps, but my friend was lost because apple maps kept trying to send her down a different road.The kitchen is amazingly stocked and there was plenty of space for our group including plenty of parking. Seemed clean. When we arrived there was no power to the outlets on the kitchen wall. We called and reported it as soon as we realized. The owner was able to help us located the breaker box and we were able flip the switch.The owner responded promptly and asked that we let her know if there were more issue with it during our stay. We did not experience additional issues, but the owner texted about it and asked for updates.The shared hot tub was awkward. While we were eating dinner there were some strangers standing at the slidding glass door in the dark, turned out they just wanted to confirm that the hot tub right outside our unit was indeed for all (which we confirmed). I don't love sharing a home hot tub with strangers. Then on Sunday after we returned from skiing and were ready to get in the hot tub only to find out someone had turned the temp down to 86. We turned it back up but had to wait a couple hours for it to heat back up.
