Welcome to The Orland Hideaway in Orland Maine
Take a break and unwind in this peaceful Family Owned Farmhouse.
A very laid back rustic home that has a full kitchen with eat in dining space, living room 1/2 bath and 1 bedroom on the 1st floor 3 additional bedrooms and full bathroom on the 2nd floor.
Enjoy the park style BBQ then gather around the fire pit and don't forget the smores!
Did I mention porch swing... my favorite spot mornings to enjoy a cuppa in the mornings
The space
An early 1900s farmhouse that has been loved by many generations.
*Traditional New England farmhouse with basic modern updates. Nothing fancy or luxurious but comfortable with enough room for the whole family.
There's fast wifi & 1 TV
Furniture and fixtures are well loved, and family friendly!
Guest access
Guests have accessto the entire farmhouse downstairs of the barn and yard. (upstairs of barn is an old hay loft and not finished please do not climb on the stairs!)
Other things to note
This is an old house and with that there are many older/original features like the windows and doors... Their old!
Not all windows have matching screens but many do and there are numerous celling fans, it gets good air flow on hottest of days.
** update for 2023 we are adding window ac units in the bedrooms.
Some of the 100+YR old doors don't always close all the way especially on the more humid of days, they swell up pretty good. The bedroom doors don't lock, they all have those old skeleton key handles.
