Summary: We were looking for somewhere to trout fish for our oldest sons 18th birthday. Man did we find a beautiful property!It had kayaks for bass fishing on the pond , which our 2 teenage boys and a friend did alot. We caught several nice 3 1/2 to 5 lb bass.Then in a short walk to the river we caught several trout. It took us to the last day because of the water being up but we did.Between the bass and trout fishing it kept the boys occupied so me and my wife could enjoy some relaxation in the hot tub.Town is just close enough to get supplies and enjoy a meal.We ate at angies hideaway , the smokehouse and macks fish house which were all good.We saw several baby deer while driving in and out of the community. I enjoyed the wifi and ample tv options to watch some college baseball too We couldnt have picked a nicer chalet or area , as this was our first time to visit heber springs.We are definitely thankful for the experience!!
