Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Beautiful little property, in a lovely village location. Very quiet location with local pubs and a village store within a stones throw.
Negative: Check in wasn’t as smooth as I’d have hoped after being told I was ok to book in an hour earlier, then be made to feel like it was an inconvenience on arrival and even had the host message me with a screenshot of her request to call the day before to confirm. In the meantime I had a message on booking.com confirming the earlier check in of an hour was confirmed etc. The stairs to the property are a little loose, especially the bottom stair, and the shrubbery up the stairs needs trimming back to make room to walk up and down freely and safely.
Summary: Lovely property, in a lovely village. But host possibly needs to improve the welcoming.
