King Parrot Cottages and Event Centre is located in the stunning Pennyroyal Value, 25 minutes from Lorne. Surrounded by beautiful bush, frequented by lots of wildlife you will instantly relax and unwind. Start your day with a coffee on the large deck, listening to the birds and enjoying the view. You then might like to enjoy one of our bush walks, a swim in our outdoor pool, a work out in or little gym or a game in our games room. Mannagum Cottage is a rambling 4-bedroom residence. Popular with family groups this cottage can accommodate 10 people in comfort with the option of squeezing in an eleventh person. There are 3 king size bedrooms, 1 large bedroom with 4 single beds, spacious living area with fire place is open to a large functional, fully equipped kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Large BBQ and deck area. All linen and towels are supplied for each guest. An outdoor fire pit is available for hire along with the purchase of wood upon request (weather dependent and not during high fire danger period). King Parrot Cottages and Event Centre has an infrared sauna. Bookings and payment to be made through our website. A communal outdoor salt water pool, games room, small gym and its own private bush walking tracks including waterfall are onsite. STRICTLY NO PARTIES. Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement only. Dogs must be kept on a lead as there is a lot of wildlife on the property. As we are located in the bush, we are safe from jelly fish and crocodiles, but not so much from snakes, they form part of the world we live in and important to our eco system and can be rarely encountered. There is a snake kit located at reception. Mannagum is one of the cottages at King Parrot Cottages & Event Centre located in the Otway Ranges, nestled on the north-facing hillside of the spectacular Pennyroyal Valley, consisting of five other cottages. When staying in Mannagum Cottage you will have access to the whole 200 acre property which includes walking tracks, contemplation areas, a creek and waterfall, communal saltwater pool (not heated), small gym and games room. King Parrot Cottages is located in the picturesque Pennyroyal Valley near Deans Marsh in the Otway Ranges, 1 1/2 hours drive from Melbourne CBD, 1 hour from Geelong and only 25 minutes from Lorne, Winchelsea or Colac. We are a perfect base for your tour of the Great Ocean Road and the Otway hinterland. We are onsite or close by, however we may be out on the property at times feeding animals or doing maintenance. If reception is unattended we are just a phone call away. It has Zipline Tours and Treetop walks Angelsea Golf Course Split Point Lighthouse Aireys Inlet Lorne Day Spa Kennett River (Koala & Parrots) Please note that we live up to our name as a bush retreat. End of valley privacy is protected by 4km winding gravel road, steep in sections. You do not need 4WD but you do need to be comfortable driving on gravel roads.
