Metta Highlands is a spacious, cozy garden level studio designed w/ the guiding principles of Metta- good will, loving-kindness, & the sincere wish of peace for all who enter! Appointed w/ luxurious Metta Home bamboo textiles & all of the amenities we value in our own routines, this cozy space is just a quick bus ride to stunning Crozet in one direction and CVille & UVA in the other. Tranquil & private but close to everything. Parking for 1 car.
The Space:
The Mettā Highlands is a cozy garden studio apartment situated on the outskirts of stunning Crozet just a quick drive to Charlottesville in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
You will enter through a separate walkway to the left and around the back of the house. Here you will find a cute little outdoor patio area, as well as the entrance and wifi lock. Our living area has comfortable seating to relax while watching TV --preloaded with all of the standard apps for streaming. The couch is also a futon that folds out as a second bed. There is a small desk and a box of office supplies to make work from home easy. Our kitchenette is appointed with a small sink, coffee pot, microwave, hot plate, air fryer/toaster oven as well as dishes and cookware. You'll find it stocked with other helpful extras including our special Mettā Blend Coffee - "Stir", roasted in Richmond, VA by Afterglow Coffee Co-Op. and there is a selection of creamers & sweeteners, a coffee grinder, olive oil & salt & pepper. The Highlands has a full bathroom with our Metta Homes brand luxury bamboo bath towels, washcloths & bathmat. You will also find in here a first aid kit, blow dryer, our Devotion Brand Shampoo, Conditioner & Shower Gel just to name a few things. The Queen bed features a Mettā Homes mattress, pillows and all of the organic bamboo bedding is also from our line. All available at Metta-Home or just message us. You will find laundry in the back of the house as well as a larger sink. Please note the mini split unit on the wall is operated via a remote control. This serves as an economical and energy efficient heating and air-conditioning solution. All remotes should all be left on the tray on the ottoman. We have done our best to create a little sanctuary for you and your family and friends. Located in an adorable little neighborhood just a few miles to downtown Crozet in one direction and Charlottesville in the other.
Other Things to Note:
* NO SMOKING anywhere inside the home. You may smoke outside; be sure you extinguish what you are smoking before leaving unattended.
* Be sure that all doors, windows and any opening where smoke may enter the house are closed and secured.
* HOUSE PARTIES & EVENTS ARE PROHIBITED
* You agree to act in such a manner as to allow those nearby peaceful enjoyment of their properties.
* We reserve the right to cancel your reservation at any time if you violate this policy.
* Advance notice is required for early check in requests and we'll do our best to accommodate those requests.
* We charge $25 per hour starting at 12 noon and will be requested through Airbnb upon check in.
* Late Check - Out: Check out is on or before 10am. If you would like to extend your check out time, please contact us in advance and we may be able to accommodate your request.
* Unauthorized late check-outs will automatically be charged 30% of the daily rental rate per hour stay past 10am.
* Your unique access door code will only work until the checkout time of 10 am unless other arrangements have been agreed upon.
* We understand that accidents happen, but please let us know if something spilled, stained, or gets broken during your stay.
* Failure to communicate any damages, we will pursue collecting for the damages through Airbnb and charge an additional 20% over and above the replacement costs.
** PETS MUST BE PRE-APPROVED Please send us a message should you want to bring your pet. There is a nonrefundable fee of $35 per pet that we will request upon check in. You know your pet better than we do, please bring the appropriate accommodations for your particular pet. For example, if your pet is a shedder, please bring your own blanket to protect our furniture.

** If your pet makes a mess in the house please clean it. Uncleaned pet messes and strong odors will be subject to additional fees.
