Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Host friendly and helpful. Village location is great for shops and places to eat (there are plenty). Nice local walks and plenty of activities and attractions within a few miles. Free parking on the street, or in the car park opposite. The apartment is well equipped and furniture is good quality and comfortable. Note that the spacious bedroom is downstairs.
Negative: Bed a bit creaky when you roll over. Builder next door opens up around 7:10am Monday to Friday and drives his van out. All quiet again after that. Not too much of an issue for us as we tend to wake early. Also, if you keep the window closed, you probably wouldn't hear Him.
