Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Comfortable bed, great view and garden was well secured to allow the dog to be outside without a worry of him getting into the road.

Negative: Although the garden was fenced off and secure, there were large enough gaps in the wire fence where the hedge gapped which was big enough for a dog to get through. Property could definitely do with some tlc, a lot of noticeable paint touchups of a different colour, worn down paint on woodwork around the bathroom door. There were a fair few cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, skirting boards thick with dust, dirty floors by the kitchen appliances, dust and fur thick under the bed and long hairs behind the toilet. The shower pressure was little to none, soap dispenser was empty in the bathroom. Although there was washing up liquid, there was nothing to use to wash up so bought own scourers and left for the next people staying. One thing I did think necessary to have in the chalet was either a broom or dust pan/brush as sweeping up dog fur and bits from the day with my hand wasn’t ideal.

Summary: Comfortable place to have a short stay. Needs better cleaning and additional items added.
