A small cottage on the water with spectacular views within walking distance of two restaurants and an ice cream shop that is located in the heart of Reedville. Currently the cottage can sleep 8 and has 3 bedrooms with four twin beds and one queen along with a sleeper sofa in the upstairs open area. The cottage has two levels The upstairs includes a bedroom and an open room that has a 50” television two recliners and a pull out couch. The main level includes the kitchen, a 12x13 enclosed porch, a family room with a fantastic view, a small bedroom with two twin beds, the bathroom, and a master bedroom with a queen bed. The kitchen and bathroom have new granite counter tops, all new windows throughout the cottage, and the sun porch has new high efficiency windows so it can be used on very hot or cool days. We own the ice cream shop in front of the cottage and will include a pint of ice cream as a welcome gift.

Summary: My wife and I were looking for a place for some much needed rest and relaxation that allowed dogs. We choose the Rock Cottage for its views and restaurants that were in close walking distance from the cottage. We were not disappointed. The view from the back yard, that was on the water, provided some of the most beautiful sunsets. The sunroom was a very nice addition. It was one of our dog's favorite spots to sit and watch the birds and those dreaded squirrels We often ate out there enjoying the views and the nice breeze. The house was well stocked with linens, towels and the kitchen had just about every thing you would need. Reedville is a very charming neighborhood with some spectacular homes that date back to the 1800's. We were able to relax and enjoy the wonderful town and weather, providing a great place to take our dog for a nice walk. The food at the local restaurants was wonderful, and we were lucky to be there during soft shell crab season. The owners are very nice and went out of their way to help when we lost power during a storm the first night there. Luckily the power was quickly restored. We got a well deserved rest and the owners provided us with a free pint of ice cream from their ice cream store that was right in front of the cottage. We are so looking forward to returning in the fall to enjoy more of the surrounding area has to offer.
