Positive: Staff offer excellent customer service - they are very helpful. Decor, artwork, furniture and rooms are generally very nice. Ambiance of the hotel is excellent. Both the rooms and communal areas feel 5-star. Breakfast was delicious and well-cooked. Room service was delicious and arrived promptly. Bathrooms are a real highlight of the rooms at The Roseate.
Negative: No plug sockets next to the beds - had to plug in chargers etc. across the room. Television lacked smart app capabilities like Netflix. Some of the decor is beginning to look a bit shabby and worn in places - the longer you stay, the more you notice - needs some paint in communal areas (such as the elevators by the restaurant), some walls and on corners. It would be a shame for such a lovely hotel to become rundown due to a lack of investment.
