Outside, the patio area with its garden furniture and wood fired hot tub is the perfect place to sit and relax either enjoying the sun or indeed best of all the dark starry skies at night!
The area surrounding The Seaview Retreat is breathtaking, from the rugged coastlines and secluded sandy beaches, to inland The Galloway Forest Park, Britian’s largest forest park with 300 square miles of wild beauty and where you will find the world renowned 7Stanes Mountain bike trail at Kirroughtree. A short 5-minute drive from The Seaview Retreat will take you to the Isle of Whithorn, an attractive little harbour village where you can sail, fish or just sit and relax overlooking the bay while perhaps enjoying a meal or glass of wine in the pub or tearoom. Visit Wigtown, which has officially been designated as Scotland’s National Book Town with a wide range of book related businesses, a book lovers haven.
