Surrounded by state and federal lands, the property provides a unique combination of privacy and natural beauty with the convenience of nearby shopping and resort living. It is the only waterfront parcel in the prestigious Ridge at Cougar Bay community. The lodge has designer lighting and finishes, chef's kitchen, whole-house generator and A/C, plentiful on-demand hot water, WIFI, fruit trees, and perennial gardens. Other amenities include an expansive master suite, oversized dock and viewing pier, panoramic views, and a 60' x 30' waterside workout/rec room below the 3-car garage. Truly a rare, legacy home that has everything needed for entertaining at the lake.
(Please Note): IMPORTANT! Private Dock Info: The private dock and surrounding water areas are primarily ideal for kayaking and stand-up paddling only. Guests may bring their own private boats AT THEIR OWN RISK, but please be aware local boat rental companies will not allow rental boats to be used at or around the location of the home's boat dock due to shallow waters containing a large amount of water foliage and potential floating logs left over from the timber mill years ago. Navigating a boat to and from the dock of the home is definitely possible, but please proceed at your own risk.
